Rydecki was being disingenuous. The WELS had taught objective justification long before Rydecki attended seminary, received instruction, and was ordained. It's not as if the WELS came up with a new doctrine that it imposed on its members. Rydecki abandoned the doctrine he had been taught and had previously accepted and then, when the WELS wouldn't tolerate it, he pointed the finger at them and accused them of sectarianism. For what? For confessing what he had previously confessed!

Poor George is so ignorant of Lutheran history that his solemn declarations evoke gales of laughter. His rubric condemns Luther for not being faithful to his Roman training in justification by works.

But wait - there's more. WELS did not always teach justification without faith. The Gausewitz catechism existed in the entire Synodical Conference (German and English) for decades - unstained by UOJ. The Gausewitz was so good that WELS "improved it" and then dumped it in favor of the David Kuske Romper Room farce.

Gausewitz was the highly respected president of the entire Synodical Conference.

Papenfuss, who created the UOJ fuss in Kokomo, admitted to his victims that he never heard of UOJ until he reached the Sausage Factory in Mequon, where he learned its gnostic secrets. Tis funny how UOJ training makes ministers so bloodthirsty that they must excommunicate justification by faith.

And here is another bonus. Concordia Publishing House is still printing a KJV catechism free of UOJ. Why isn't Pope Paul the Plagiarist organizing book burnings outside the Shrine to St. Vianney?

Sidebar - Missouri bought its land from a Roman Catholic high school built in honor of that crackpot saint John Vianney. If you want a few hoots, read about the remarkable Cure d'Ars John. The Purple Palace shares sacred space with that invented saint, so they are filling it with Roman wannabees like McCain and Weedon.

Rydecki stands condemned for being a Berean and testing the spirits.
